I think I want to get this made into a shirt. What do you think?

The tips I was given for welding on this truss. Clamp, clamp, clamp. Tack, tack, tack. Move around, don’t let heat build up in any one area. Move slowly and let it cool. Took us about 6 hours between cleaning, prepping, preheating and welding.

Picked these up from 440 Powder Coating. They look awesome. Can’t wait to get these reassembled and on the Jeep!

I got overruled on the JB weld idea. So we notched the truss. This does weaken it slightly, but not enough to be a concern.

The Dana 30 we put the truss on had an ARB air locker. The port for the locker was going to be in the way of the truss. I suggested we just fill the hole with JB Weld and drill another one.

A friend suggested I try the Penetro 90 to loosen the control arm ends that were not moving. I tried, but since I am really impatient, and 15 minutes isn’t long enough to work, I ended up using the torch. 😂

Front End Friday!I’m hoping to own one of these one day. This was an early 40’s Willys MB and it runs! The hard part is finding one. The harder part is finding one with a title.
