With the saddle off the K&T 2HL and cleaned up, I needed to make sure all the oil passages were clear and clean before I can run new felt. This turned out to be more of a challenge than I expected due to some stupid mistakes on my part! As I watch the video back during editing, I can see the plugs were moving in some cases when I center punched them. More evidence that I should have removed these a different way. Lesson learned for the next time – if there ever is a next time!
