A little extra insulation
I bought several bags of vermiculite from Menards to use as insulation in the concrete block. It wasn’t that expensive, and it should help a little to keep the cold out. I did a little research and I could have used spray foam or used foam insulation on the bottom. Both of which would have been more expensive and I don’t think would have made much of a difference.
Built this “trolly” out of some scrap. I poured the vermiculite in the top and just slid it across the block, lifting it where the anchor bolts were set.
My heart is broken. I miss her already.
Tailgate Table
My friend Rob sold me his M-PAC Springtail tailgate table. I have been wanting one for a while. I used to have a Smittybilt MOLLE. panel on here, but I never really liked it. I’ve been wanting a table for quite some time now.

I attached the table using nutcerts. A much better option than the little plastic clips they give you. The old panel was attached with some screws, which left some holes. I sanded the paint around them and used a little body filler and some factory matched paint to hide the old holes. Not 100% perfect, but you can’t tell they were even there unless you look for them.
I had to replace a bushing on one of my Bilstein shocks.
I had to replace a bushing on one of my Bilstein shocks. The bolt rusted to the sleeve and I had to cut it off. Bilstein doesn’t have replacement parts. Boo. I was able to find a @warrior_products part that would work, but the hole for the sleeve is 1/2” and I needed it to be 12mm. So I made a new sleeve out of some bar stock. First real project on a lathe. 😊

Wheelie Wednesday!
One of the mistakes I made when installing the Max-Bilt Trail Tails
One of the mistakes I made when installing the Max-Bilt Trail Tails in this corner armor, is I didn’t properly heat sink the resistors that are inline with the turn signals. Without the resistor, the computer thinks the bulb is burnt out. But that resistor gets HOT, so I’ll be correcting that soon.

What a load…
Wonder what could be under all those tarps? A truck just delivered all this from Menard’s. I saved big money. 🙂
