Continuing the restoration of the 1940s drill press by moving my attention to the table. It’s got some marks in it. Should be easy enough to remove on the milling machine. I solved the challenge of work holding by making some clamps but ran into another problem I had to solve.

Restoring a 1940s Craftsman Drill Press – Part 1

I was given this 1940s Craftsman Drill Press (103.0303) by someone on one of the local FB community pages. It was missing some parts, but I figured I could find them or make what was missing. In this first part of this new series, I figure out how to disassemble the machine to identify what parts I need to source.
