This is what two years of salt and slush will do to the underside of a set of rock sliders. Ugh. Glad I spent the time and money to have these blasted and powder coated again. This time with a zinc rich primer that should keep them rust free for years.

A Night at Delicate Arch, Moab, Utah. This was a fairly short but steep trail. It wasn’t too bad, but definitely narrow with a drop off at the end. I had to wait for all the selfies photographers to clear at sunset and then for the moon to put the shadows in the right spot as night fell. Ended up hiking down around 10:30pm or so with a couple of other photographers I met while shooting. All in all a fun night! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Muddy Monday! 33” tires just weren’t enough on this part of the trail at Southington Off Road. I high centered on the rut in the center!
For whatever reason, when I changed tires
For whatever reason, when I changed tires to the BFG KO2, even with the carrier adjusted all the way in, the side walls of the tire would not make contact with the carrier. This made for an unsafe situation. I welded up this simple square and sleeved some bolt holes and mounted it to the extra holes. The tire makes contact with the new bracket nicely. No rattling!
