Big problem with the K&T – Oil is everywhere!
Got the motor pulley and belts installed, everything seemed to be going well. But then I noticed oil all over the floor and inside the motor bay!

Assembly and Installation of the K&T 2HL Coolant Pump
This weeks video is rather short. I reassembled the coolant pump and installed it back into the mill. I managed to find a couple of pieces that needed replacing from someone on one of the machinist’s forums.

Tick tick tick – boom? (It’s been fixed, fear not)
Final Assembly of the South Bend Steady Rest
I finally finished all of the machining for the steady rest. It’s now ready for assembly. I discover a miscalculation I made in the design of the bed clamp, which won’t require much effort to remediate. It’ll be a great addition to the lathe tooling.
